Ms. Cross was Consulting Manager for a nationally recognized Healthcare Information Technologies vendor and was responsible for a nation-wide team of ambulatory EMR consultants. This team was among the first in the industry to develop strategies and tools for the successful implementation and adoption of EMR by physicians and nurses in over 600 ambulatory clinics. These strategies focused on the usage of EMR in exam rooms and medical offices of physicians who were fully functional in a paperless environment. The implementation of EMR in this manner requires significant operational and clinical workflow re-engineering, as well as strategic change management leadership.

She has led Executive Steering Teams, within and across collaborating health systems, through the planning and rollout of EMR to hundreds of physicians. She has a strong understanding of the operational aspects of implementing enterprise clinical IT solutions, as well as a thorough understanding of the physicians needs and clinical requirements of documentation at the point of care.

Strong account management skills and relationship development skills

Ms. Cross has successfully managed client relationships from the point of pre-sales through implementation and support. Client list includes Diagnostic Clinic of Houston, Baylor College of Medicine, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Texas Children's Hospital, NASA, Hermann Memorial Health Systems, and Austin Diagnostic Clinic, as well as many medium and small private practices.
